We have been again been busy enhancing the TracNet components with numerous new features and enhancements. We would like to thank all of our client agencies staff for their input and suggestions. Most of the enhancements and new features were developed from user comments and suggestions. TracNet considers user input of paramount importance in developing new features and system enhancements.
Mapping has been updated with the release of Map Point 2010 included in the TracNet CAD and Records. In the Records Management System, a new release supports exporting of more audio file types in addition to images and scanned documents. Many of the agencies continue to use the new Verison and ATT wireless for wireless mobile computing involving Mobile CAD and Field Reporting.
We are hosting a TracNet User’s Group Meeting on June 3, 4 and 5 in Monterey. We recommend the Chief/Sheriff and TracNet System and system Manager/Records Manager attend as we will seek input on desired future TracNet system enhancements as well as providing an overview of enhancements in new releases. This meeting will also provide time to get answers to your specific questions and talk with other system users.
We have obtained a special government rate at the Portola Plaza Hotel in Monterey ($84 single and $114 double) and included the hotel information with the agenda. I hope we will see you there!
