Information Case

Information Cases are designed to document simple incidents typically involving non-criminal activity. These cases are a very quick and simple to enter. They include a brief narrative and document people, vehicles and property associated with the incident. When these cases are entered they do go to the list of unapproved information cases automatically.

When the TracNet CAD system is integrated an I Case can copy the CAD dispatch Call For Service information into the Main page. Once the CFS information has been copied it can be changed in the Information Case. This does NOT alter the information as taken in the original CFS.

Under Information Case "Options" the user can have:
• Images added
• Scanned documents added
• Track any fees collected
• Add Officer notes
